Dishwasher Not Run for Record 33 Days While Kids at Camp

Marlboro, NJ (July 28, 2017) – The dishwasher is run on a nightly basis at the Buxbaum household from mid-August through late June but it has not been in service once in the past thirty-three days, the exact number of days the Buxbaum children have been at camp.  The stainless steel Bosch Benchmark Series SHX9PT55UC 23.5″ Built-in Dishwasher has sat idle for nearly five weeks and there is no reason to believe it will be used in the foreseeable future based on the couple’s new dining habits.

Experts cannot pinpoint the exact reason why the special-order high-end dishwasher has not been used, but several have surmised that it is due to the fact that the couple, Allyson and Michael, has not eaten a prepared meal at home since their children left for camp.  Additionally, they have been feasting on perishables such as their kids’ Mixed Berry Go-Gurt tubes and several flavors of sucrose-loaded yogurt drinks. Essentially, they have not used one piece of silverware or dishware this summer.

“Every night without kids is a weekend night.  I figure that we’re actually saving a ton of money by not paying baby sitters or running the dishwasher.  Hell, I’ve only done one load of laundry so far!” justified Mrs. Buxbaum.

The sorely underutilized Bosch Benchmark Series SHX9PT55UC 23.5″ Built-in Dishwasher was not available for comment.
